SHIPPING POLICY
For Pickup at Fore River Gallery: Skip shipping fees and the anticipation of waiting for a delivery! Come stop by the gallery to pick up your new artwork. Please refer to our open hours or schedule an appointment to complete pick-up.
For Shipping:We will carefully pack and ship your items via the United States Postal Service within 5 business days of the order for many of the orders.
All orders shipped within the State of Maine are subject to a 5.5% sales tax.
For large or oddly shaped items, we work a professional art handler. They specialize in packaging, transporting artwork. We will contact you after your purchase to pay for the shipping. Items needing this extra shipping care will not ship until we have received the payment for shipping.
For items that need special boxes built or direct transport in the New England area and to New York City, we will contact you to provide this arrangement.
Your orders will be shipped from Portland, ME.
Fore River Gallery is not responsible for any lost and abandoned packages. In the event of a stolen package, refunds will not be provided. Please ensure a secure shipping location is provided at checkout.
We will provide tracking information and expected delivery date as soon as the item is shipped.
RETURN POLICY
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us within 7 calendar days of receiving your order to begin processing your return. Any return after the 7 calendar days is only eligible for a credit or even exchange. Shipping for the initial order is non-refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. All returned items must be in the same condition as it was when we packaged and shipped them. Any item that is in an altered state of condition from when we shipped it, may not be refunded.
You may also return the purchase directly to the retail store.
In the unfortunate event of goods damaged in transit, Fore River Gallery will accommodate product replacement/and or refund after a claim has been filed with the shipping service. We will work with you to complete the claim. We will need the damaged item shipped back to us to complete the process.

Conditions
All prices listed are accurate to the best of our ability. In the rare case that an item is listed incorrectly, Fore River Gallery reserves the right to refuse the sale and may offer the item again with the correct information. We’re human and can easily make an error in pricing.
We don’t guarantee the availability of any items listed on our website as it is also available for sale in our retail location. If the item selected for purchase is not available, we will make every effort to contact the customer to notify them of the cancellation or offer an alternative.
Please note that upon placing an order, a receipt is automatically mailed confirming the purchase intent. This receipt does not constitute a contract, and orders may be cancelled at any time due to insufficient stock, inability to authorize a credit card, suspicion of fraudulent intent, discovery of an incorrect item price, or any other reason, as we see fit. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any such order whether or not your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has already been charged and your order is canceled, Fore River Gallery will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the purchase.
